I think every worker except those in sales are on a fixed income each year until yearly pay raise time.

Thanks earlier for Your post about The Milkman movie.
I searched on DDG and saw many results for the search.
Made me wonder if the Shopping Malls still have stores selling VCR movies.
Old technology, I know, but everything here is old technology.

I am glad I have Internet service again.
I'm too cheap to want to pay more than my monthly fee.

When I am on IMDB's website I now see a pop up ad asking if I would like to pay a fee for better results.from their pages, NOPE! NOT ME. I'm a CHEAP LID.

Piece work is another job that pays the employee according to how many pieces are worked on.
As a Router operator I put holes in wood pieces according to the pattern the designers wanted.
Round holes, larger round holes, triangular holes etc.

Every piece was worked on in the shortest time during an hour would rise the hourly pay scale .

Slower employees were paid less due to not processing as much material on their shift..
I was a new employee and hadn't learned how to speed up working on a board without leaving blimishes the Sanding Crew would have to give more attention to Since pay wasn't hourly I wasn't paid as much as more experienced workers were. Hence I quit and went looking for some other work where I was paid on an hourly scale.

I forgot to mention that I look at the Internet Movie DataBase IMDb.com (or

IMDB used to have the _best_ mobile apps. It's like someone that worked there was really good and actually cared. Then all of a sudden, it all went downhill. Such a shame, but it's like the same thing happens any time a company has a good website or mobile app or whatever. Never lasts long.

But I digress. One thing I don't like about IMDB is their ratings of movies. It's almost like you have to learn how bad it is and then adjust your expectations from their ratings :).

like most sites, imdb got taken over by a bunch of opinionated user dicks.
it used to be worse. i never got involved with that but i've seen articles on it. i go there for the info on movies and tv. nothing else.

I wrote " piece work" to You because I had just finished a post to You about Sales People don't have a Fixed Income.
And my thinking most folks who work a 40 hour week have a Fixed Income except once a year pay raises.

It was my way of tacking a add-on to the message I wrote.
You had written something asking if I was on a fixed income and I answered that I thought most workers are on a fixed income.

Sorry My confusion caused Your confusion.

I recently noticed that TV-14 movies sometimes got really RANK.
So I go to IMDB to see what the Movie Rating for the show is.
I see lots of those TV-14 shows are Rated R at IMDB.

I have a Amateur Radio License, in Part 97 Rules and Regulations foul language is forbidden.
But Public Television has begun allowing "Common" Foul Language in shows instead of muteing it.
They mute some but not all of it.
They even blur the picture in some scenes sometimes when the action gets too rank.
I wonder when the FCC will allow TV Stations or Networks to broadcast worse language over the air.

They can already say "shit" and "fuck" now. Haven't really noticed anything getting muted/cut in quite some time.
